The Stand - Stephen King

Book title: The Stand-Uncut Edition, Written by Stephen King

Pages:1141

Author Mini-Bio: Stephen King has written many novels, something like 76. He lives in Maine, and Florida with his wife, Tabitha King, Who is also a novelist. He has won many awards and is a very accomplished novelist.

Plot: i Haven't Really read much of the book, so i don't really know what the plot is. All i can tell you about it is; a man, who worked at a facility somewhere in the US, Escaped a lock down, and managed to spread a disease through the States. A disease that is highly communicable, all you have to do is walk within 100 feet of someone who has it, and your infected. So far, the book has basically been about it spreading across America, Pouring fear into the hearts of everyone.

Setting: Not Much About the setting of this book has been revealed, as it jumps from character to character, but i will tell you what i can about it. The setting of this book takes place all over the us, as there is many different characters you meet though the book. Apparently you need to know who all of these characters are to get the book, and there is about 25 main characters it just keeps switching through. It takes Place in the 1970s-80's

My Thoughts: I think the book is pretty good, i really like the authors style of writing, and this kind of novel. There isnt really anything i dislike, except for the constant switching back and forth between characters, which i can deal with.
